BUDGET OPTIONS
When it comes to surf rods, it is best 
to leave the budget combos alone in 
the shop.  You are better looking for 
a rod on its own and the best you 
can afford.  The better-quality rods 
are more expensive, but they will 
help make an average surfcaster into 
a good surfcaster as your number 
one goal is to achieve longer casts.
A good surf rod will enable 
the angler to cast long, set 
the hook easily and provide 
ample power across the 
blank when fighting fish.
