Most boat fishos started out with a small boat and cut their teeth fishing the inshore 
waters before moving up in craft size. Some ventured into kayaks first because 
they had a modest budget, but all anglers recognised that their chances of success 
increased when they stopped fishing off the land and found deeper water to fish.
