We like to use a quality salt 
removing product such as Desalt, 
to clean the boat after each trip 
out and it does a great job on the 
U-DEK and brings the colours 
out well after cleaning.  We also 
ensure that the boat is stored 
when not in use, under a full 
boat cover to help protect it from 
the rain and harsh Kiwi sun.
For stubborn stains, there is 
a U-DEK cleaning agent that 
can be purchased and used.
THE FACTS
U-DEK is made of closed-cell 
chemically cross-linked foams, 
which are manufactured from 
polyethylene (PE), ethylene-vinyl 
acetate copolymers (EVA) or a high-
tech blended copolymer. The fine 
cell structure gives minimal water 
absorption, a high buoyancy rating 
and excellent chemical resistance.
