Mike and Natalie Penn are the 
duo behind the Expo who lead 
a team of organisers who are 
genuinely passionate about New 
Zealand’s boating, fishing, and 
diving communities. From the 
beginning, their vision has been 
to create more than just a trade 
show. The event was established 
as a platform to support the 
local Kiwi marine industry, to 
showcase innovative products 
and services, and help grow public 
participation in marine recreation.
“One of the major attractions 
this year is the incredible door 
prize up for grabs, a massive 
$8,000 fishing gear package 
from Daiwa New Zealand.”
Fishing is a big attraction at the 
show with many of the top brands 
present at the two-day show.
Mike (on right) is a hunting guide 
who has several years’ experience of 
running the popular Sika hunting show.
