The 2.2L CRDi turbo engine 
combined with an 8-speed 
automatic transmission is 
exceptionally smooth and effortless 
when on the open road.  The ute 
is built on an all-new dedicated 
ladder frame platform that has been 
developed for the Tasman, to offer 
excellent durability and robustness.
The Tasman features a low range 
gearing system and automatic rear 
electronic locking differential to 
help navigate challenging terrain 
with a 4WD Active transfer switch 
available on all 4WD variants. 
Reactive mechanical rear differential 
lock available on TX, TXR, TXS & 
X-Line. While a selectable rear 
electromechanical differential lock 
is available on top X-Pro model.
Terrain modes help to optimise 
performance and safety across 
various off-road conditions 
that can be selected for Snow, 
Mud, Sand and Rock.
With up to 1,025kg payload, 
the Tasman is a proper one-
tonne ute and has a best-in-
class tub capacity to fit up to 
1,212L of cargo in the tub.
TOWING TECH
The Tasman is rated for towing 
up to 3500kg (braked) or 750kg 
(unbraked) and features an 
integrated trailer brake control 
that automatically applies the 
trailer brakes when you brake on 
the Tasman. It is easy to fine-tune 
the braking force by using the 
positive and negative buttons.
