in such challenging conditions. Brian also sighed with relief as he didn’t catch anything the year before during the competition. We had a few other soft bites, but the hook didn’t stick and the fish seemed to be a bit slow on the bite today. On my next cast and a heavy fish slowly took the bait and then line at a steady rate of speed, after a good fight and I landed a 15kg+ eagle ray which was released. Back at the weigh in at 3:30pm and the boys watched on as they weighed Matt’s lone kahawai. The final line up of winning fish await the prize giving for trevally, snapper and kahawai. /FISHINGINGODZONE 21
