b'Sunline Siglon X8 is an 8-strand braid with particularly good knot and durability characteristics.Higher carrier braids like Black Magics Hyperglide will have better knot and durability characteristics and stronger for its diameter compared to less carrier models of braid.Braid doesnt stretch and this can result in pulled hooks if the drag is too tight or the rod isnt worked properly.times I cast after untangling it and the line broke as I was retrieving the lure. I got the lure back, but it was a good 30m of line lost. Just be aware that if this happens you must test your line for damage/strength before using it as there is an extremely high chance it is no longer safe to use. The solution is not to pull the line off the spool with the bail arm open but instead, loosen the drag and pull the line off by hand with the bail arm down until you get to the loose loop.
